Our Mission

At ALCNY, you will learn a language vital for international communication and you will become a member of a vibrant and diverse community.

 

Our passionate professors come from American universities such as Columbia, NYU, Parsons and The New School and are recognized as accomplished artists, photographers, musicians, writers and entrepreneurs.

 

Our courses give students of all ages the opportunity to learn English while immersing themselves in an authentic New York experience. It's our goal to bring to the surface what is waiting in you to be shared with the world!

Today we are able to participate in a worldwide  league, rather than being restricted to interacting locally or even nationally. Speaking English is a vital tool to access the global cosmopolitan community.


Connecting through English is not just about learning grammar and phonetics. 

We will transmit the energy, attitude, enthusiasm and drive that New York is celebrated for. Possessing these skills is as valuable as the language itself.


Our individualised programs allow students to develop at their own pace and gain confidence to express themselves. At ALCNY, you will be welcomed into our inspiring universe and join our rich network.

During the past ten years, the founders of ALCNY have shown that a curriculum using creative projects is the key to empowering students. It is the kind of learning that enhances personal and professional success.

Adaptability, thinking creatively, and working compassionately are some important qualities that are considered  soft skills.


Therefore, we have developed methods that leave behind traditional approaches. We are convinced that teaching English with a New York twist gives students the best chance to maximize their greatest potential.
